Our 5 and 6 yr olds have started off strong this year by pitching a shut out in there home opener versus our Rival the R.P. Raiders. THen the kept up the hard work as they pulled out a tough one versus the Eastside BullDogs. Next on the List is the Chicago Cardinals I don't think they are ready for the B Team Canes!!! Wow!!!! what a show the Hurricane Peewees put on against Richton Park 26-6 Romping, they had the ground game going the defense was focused they played some football. Then they Storm into BullDog territory and go into a double overtime win 25-19. they where in control but got alittle too relax but hey a win is a win. They are still undefeated 2-0 way to go peewee
Now your Hurricane Jv team jumped out to a 13-0 lead in the first half against the Raiders in the home opener, and they looked great. But then the second have came and the raiders made it a dog fight and came back and put 12 un answered points on the board. The Hurricanes Held on too win 13-12. The Hurricane coaching Staff told the players hey we need to play 4qrts of football. And then they took that and brought it to life when they beat eastide bulldogs 25-0. it was truly a team Effort. there Record is 2-0 still undefeated!!!
The 2012 Hurricane Varsity was in a chess Match their first Game versus The Raiders, they played true football a game of inches. It was 0-0 in the 4th qrter, with 24 seconds on the clock with the hurricanes on the 20 yard line. Now a field goal wins it But First year Offensive Cooridnator Lamond trick in my bag Hundson hits the raiders with a reverse to win the game 6-0, gutssy call Coach.
